This statement applies to the National GP Engagement Programme microsite. It describes how accessible the site is, how to report problems, and how the site has been tested.
Using this website
This website is run by Kaleidoscope Health and Care on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it. That means you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts using your browser or device settings
- zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate the website using a keyboard alone
- navigate the website using speech-recognition software
- listen to the website using a screen reader, including recent versions of VoiceOver and NVDA
We have also made the text on the website as simple as possible to understand.
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible this website is
This website has been designed and built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at Level AA, the standard required by the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Independent accessibility testing will be completed before the site goes live. This statement will be updated when that testing is complete to reflect any non-accessible content identified, the WCAG criteria affected, and the timeline for fixing them.
Registration is hosted on Ticket Tailor and the programme survey is hosted on Alchemer. Both are external platforms, each with their own accessibility statements:
